THAILAND & CAMBODIA
Thailand is a country in Southeast Asia known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha, a revered symbol. Our visit to Thailand will cover the cities of Bangkok, Chang Mai & Phuket. This MAHOGANY VACATIONS adventure will stop first in Bangkok where we'll visit the floating market, tour the Grand Buddha Temple then take a river cruise followed by a night walking foodie tour. After Bangkok our next stop is Chang Mai - the ancient city that dates back to the 12th century filled with ruins and temples where ancient and modern coexist. Our adventure to Thailand rounds off with a three night stay in the tropical resort island of Phuket. After the hustle & bustle of Bangkok & Chang Mai - you will love the contrast of the rest and relaxation that Phuket offers you. An optional add-on to Angkor Wat, Cambodia is certainly a must.
SOUTH AFRICA
MARCH 1 - MARCH 16, 2023
Our adventure begins in Cape Town, a fascinating modern seaside city loaded with Beaches, Museums, Shops & Restaurants and boasts a wealth of cultural attractions and heritage sites. Table Mountain and The Wine Lands region will be just a few of the many sights you will see. Our second stop will be our safari in Botswana. Watch the herds, photograph the pack and witness the migration of dozens of animals on over 50,000 Acres at Chobe. You won't be disappointed as we experience animals in their natural environment. Onward, we continue to Victoria Falls; one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world - The mighty Zambezi flows to the edge to create the world's largest sheet of falling water. Our last stop is Johannesburg - the city where visitors will have difficulty not in finding something to do, but in choosing between all the exciting options. Jo'Burg, as the locals call it has something for everyone - museums that examine the country's apartheid past, the new Constitutional Court or a look at the city's gold
mining beginnings.
BRAZIL & ARGENTINA
Discover Buenos Aires' grand sweeping boulevards, quaint alleyways and French inspired architecture that give the city it's nickname as The Paris of South America. You'll dance the Tango in one of the city's famous Tango houses and sample some of the finest Malbecs from the country's famous wine region. Next, we'll stop at Iguazu Falls, known as one of the most beautiful natural wonders. The tour continues in Rio de Janeiro, a city of celebrations. Set between the mountains and the sea, this enchanting city is known for its Samba, beaches, incredible nightlife and heart warming people. Salvador do Bahia, long renowned for it's unique fusion of African and Portuguese cultures will be our final stop. This African influence makes Salvador, the center of Afro - Brazilian culture and will provide the perfect ending to this vibrant and multicultural tour.

FANTASTIC FRANCE
Paris, Provence & The French Riviera
Our MAHOGANY VACATIONS adventure to Paris, Provence and the French Riviera begins on the Southern Coast of France. We'll visit the cities of Nice, Cannes, Eze and Monte Carlo: the capital of the principality of Monaco. Nice and Cannes have long been the playground of the jet set crowd. After our tour of the Riviera - our group moves onto Provence, (pronounced Pro-Vawnce). Straddling the Mediterranean Sea in the south of France, Provence is known for its lavender-scented scenery, historic cities, and some of the best wineries in the world. Our group will take a food and wine tour to learn about fun and traditional french cuisine. We'll visit the famed lavender fields and the factory of L'Occitaine before moving onto Paris. The Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe and the Louvre are some of the sights we'll see in the French capital before taking a cruise on the Seine River. These last few days in Paris will coincide with Bastille Day, when the french celebrate their republic with fireworks and parades.
NORTHERN ITALY
AUGUST 28 - SEPTEMBER 10, 2023
With its gondolas, canals, churches, amazing restaurants and unforgettable romantic ambiance, Venice is definitely a destination for one's bucket list. As an introduction to this amazing city, we will arrange a walking tour of the heart of Venice to help you get acquainted. Get your cameras ready as we visit the breathtaking St. Marks Square, The Doge's Palace, Bridge of Sighs and the famed Basilica San Marco. After our two nights in Venice our group will depart on a seven night cruise of the Greek Islands. Our ship The Orchestra; will stop into a different port city each day giving us the chance to experience one of the most diverse samplings of the various Greek Islands. Upon returning to Venice we will disembark our ship and board our private coach for Rome. The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Vatican City and the Roman Forum are just a few of the many sights you will see in this eternal, ancient and wondrous city.
EGYPT
Ancient history and the pyramids have long been the initial lure, but once you arrive in Egypt it's easy to see this is a country that's in a constant struggle to preserve itself and drastically modernize at the same time. Cairo, the capital city is filled with museums, ancient ruins, art galleries and shops. Our visit to Egypt will cover the cities of Cairo, Giza & Luxor as well as a multi day cruise on the Nile River. This MAHOGANY VACATIONS adventure will stop first in Cairo where we'll visit the National Museum of Islamic Art and the Egyptian Museum, Pyramids of Giza and the world famous Sphinx. Then its onto Luxor where we'll continue our sightseeing before boarding our 4 day Nile River cruise. An optional 4 day add-on to Mediterranean resort of Bodrum & Istanbul, Turkey rounds off this 14 day adventure.
AMSTERDAM, BRUSSELS & COPENHAGEN
Our tour begins in The Netherlands for touring, sight - seeing and excitement. Amsterdam, has something for everyone, from visiting the Flower Market and Dam Square to strolling the famous canals. Filled with dutch colonial charm, Amsterdam is definitely a destination for one's bucket list. The Rembrandt and Van Gogh Museums as well as the Anne Frank House are some of the sights you will be able to see while in Amsterdam. On our free day - you have the chance to break out on your own or take one our pre- arranged optional tours to the Hague or the pottery making city of Delft. Your three nights in Amsterdam will leave you just enough time to explore this historical city and take in the sights. As you can always expect, this adventure as well as all of our others will be a blend of discovery and excitement the MAHOGANY VACATIONS way.
SPLENDORS OF CHINA
Long since hidden from the rest of the world, China is still a country unfamiliar to most in the west. This trip has been designed to tear the lid off and allow you a peek inside. Starting off in Beijing, our tour will visit all the popular sights including The Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Olympic Village and The Forbidden City. Next up we will venture to another former capital city of China - Xi'an, home to the Xing Dynasty and the world famous sight of the discovery of the Terra Cotta Warriors. In Xi'an we'll visit the city walls and the ever vibrant Muslim Street. On to Shanghai and meet its history face to face. Our itinerary includes visits to the China Museum of Art, The Bund, Yu Gardens and the Silk and Pearl Factories. Hong Kong, our last stop will give us great food, great shopping and great vistas. Our time in Hong Kong will give travelers the chance to visit Victoria Peak, The Big Buddha and the island of the Portuguese colony of Macau.
